In the years 1998/99 I have done ten months basic military service with the German Federal Armed Forces. Remained are more or less strong impressions, which I recorded in a diary. 304 days of the typical or also not so typical everyday life with the German Federal Armed Forces. I was assigned in the Lent-Kaserne in Rotenburg an der Wümme.

There I have done the tasks of a remote alarm unit in the EloKa, the electronic conduct of operations, in the 5th FmRgt 320. Beside the diary I held also still the nice small things with the German Federal Armed Forces in pictures. Thus one sees drunken people, cleaning actions and soldiers in funny linings or the typical room in the typical barracks.
